This is an R2 engine that I built for a customer in Michigan. It is a 0.060" engine with a
semi-floating wrist pin setup achieved by using 0.005" oversized pins. The piston pin bores and rod pin bores were
honed to a 0.004" interference fit to lock the pins in place. This gets rid of the "wedge bolt" that
leaves the wrist pin fixed in the connecting rod. This is about over 20 grams of riciprocating mass that you don't
need. The heads are ported and polished R1 heads with R3 valves and R2+ springs. The valvetrain is finished off
with a 0.480" reground R2 camshaft.
